Components

Electra is a superstar, and as such travels with an entourage. Electra's entourage is made up of trucks and is known collectively as the "Components". The number and type of trucks vary depending on the production. The core line-up is:

• Krupp the Armaments Truck, the security guard.
• Purse the Money Truck, the accountant.
• Volta the Freezer Truck, the personal assistant.
• Wrench the Repair Truck, the medic.
• Joule the Dynamite Truck (originally an animal truck), the animal handler.

Touring productions from 2003 have cut the role of Krupp. In 2017, Krupp was also removed from the Bochum production. The 2018 rewrites changed the Component line-up, also cutting Purse. The roles of Purse and Krupp were merged in a new character - Killerwatt, Electra's security truck. At the same time, Volta became a male role, Joule and Wrench remain unchanged.
