Born in Nottingham, Damian studied drama at Clarendon College, and dance at Ballet Rambert School (London).
Upon leaving Rambert, he joined Adventures in Motion Pictures Dance Company, with whom he performed in Matthew Bourne's Swan Lake, touring the UK and Europe, and at the Dominion (West End). Damian then joined the UK tour of Fame the Musical, for which he understudied and played the lead role of Tyrone Jackson and Mr Myers. Damian has also been seen in Disney's The Lion King(Lyceum), the original cast of Elton John and Tim Rice's Aida (Essen, Germany), Leonard Bernstein's Wonderful Town (Grange Park Opera) and in Miss Saigon (tour).
Theatre includes: Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale (Florizel) and The Taming of the Shrew (Katherine), Whale (American Scientist) and Yoho (Danny), all with the Lace Market Theatre Company, Nottingham.
Most recently, Damian was involved in a brand new piece by the English National Opera, with music written by Asian Dub Foundation, called Gaddafi: A Living Myth, which he helped to create and in which he played a Libyan Operative.
film and television include: Swan Dancer in Billy Elliot, Michael in The Token King, James in Death Comes from the Touch of the Funnyman and a bus conductor in the recent series of Jane Hall.
In addition Damian was an original member of Trinity Contemporary Dance Company, performing at The Place. He has appeared as a dancer and model in pop videos and catwalk shows.
Damian would like to dedicate his performance to his grandma (love you always) and his mother.
