Danny John Jules created the role of Rocky 1 in Starlight Express, has gone on to mainstream fame as "The Cat" in Sci-fi sitcom "Red Dwarf" and "Dwayne" in "Death and Paradise".

Biography (1984)[]
Danny John Jules (Rocky 1) trained at The Omnibus Theatre Company and Anna Scher Children's Theatre. West End shows include Barnum, Cats, Destry Rides Again and Labelled With Love at The Albany Empire. Films include Seven Green Bottles, Scum, The Great Muppet Caper, Rag Time (Twyla Tharp) and various commercials and he has danced in many TV shows. In 1982 he was in Three Of A Kind, the British entry which won at The Montreux Film Festival and in 1983 he was in a show called Marmalade Atkins, the British entry in the same Festival. He has recently completed recording an album with Ian Page singing backing vocals and he has also made a recording with the band.
