In 2010 Bochum invited 14 boys and girls to do a workshop in the theatre. There were workshops in 2005 and 2008, too.
The workshop took 3 days. The children made their own costumes which were completed with original parts, as well as wigs and make-up.
They were aged 7 to 11 years.
They trained Licht am Ende des Tunnels, which was performed for family and friends at the last day. They were trained by Debbie Hearnden, Steven Rosso and Michal Fraley, as well as the actors, such as Andreas Wolfram and Marcel Brauneis. To make things easier, they all wore Inline skates and the choreography was simplified.
The children got to play Rusty, Electra, Greaseball, Pearl, Dinah, Buffy, Ashley, Wrench, Joule, Volta, Hip Hopper 1, Hashamoto, Espresso and Red Caboose. For training they wore the same character bibs as the actors and actresses do, when they practice without costumes.
