2009 Biography[]
Brought up on the South Island's West Coast, Jos was introduced to theatre through his brother's and sister's involvement in dance and music. Jos's musical theatre debut was for the Court Theatre's 2003 production of The Sound of Music as Frederick. Since then theatre highlights include Beauty and the Beast, Cats, Chicago, Hot Shoe Shuffle and several seasons of ASB Bank Starry Nights for Showbiz Christchurch.
Jos has trained in Tap and Jazz at Impact Dance and Stage School under the direction of Mandy Roberts since 2003. Last year he started an engineering geology degree at the University of Canterbury which is momentarily on hold, due to be completed in the future.
Apart from dance and theatre Jos has a huge appetite for sport. As one of New Zealand's top junior triathletes he has earned several respectable titles and has had the privilege of representing his country for the last two years at the Junior World Champs.
Jos is extremely excited to be part of this tour and to be working closely with such talented individuals and of course learning a new skill... roller skating.
