Biography[]
Training: Ruthie began dancing at Footlights Dance Centre in Norfolk and then went on to train professionally at Laine Theatre Arts.
Theatre credits include: Maureen in RENT in Concert (UK Tour), Dinah and Dance Captain in Starlight Express (UK and Asian Tour), Dance Captain and Frenchy in Grease (National Theatre, Slovenia); Assistant Dance Captain, swing and understudy Paulette in Legally Blonde (The Savoy Theatre, West End); Ensemble in Fame (Grimaldi Forum, Monte Carlo); created the role of Sally Starling in Dick Whittington (Theatre Royal, Wakefield); created the role of Gloria in the original cast of Flashdance (UK Tour); Dinah in Starlight Express (UK Tour); Swing, understudy Dinah in Starlight Express (UK and Scandinavian Tour); Ensemble, understudy Rusty and Urleen in Footloose (Novello Theatre, West End and UK Tour), DeNile in Jason and the Argonauts (New Players Theatre, Workshop); Wrench, understudy Dinah and Ashley in Starlight Express (First ever UK Tour) and Lambchops, understudy Carmen, Serena, Mabel and Miss Bell in Fame (Aldwych Theatre, West End).
