2009 Biography[]
18 year old Georgia says she can't remember a time when she wasn't dancing and singing but she never imagined she would be doing this while on skates!
She began her formal ballet training at a young age with the Maureen Ax School of Dance in Palmerston North and was selected nationally for 4 years as a classical Junior Associate of the New Zealand School of Dance. Georgia also has a passion for Contemporary and Jazz dance.
Her love of musical theatre began when she played Little Cossette in the Manawatu production of Les Miserables and from there she has played leading roles in Annie, Nunsense, High School Musical, Cats and recently played Liesl in The Sound of Music.
Georgia says that being part of Starlight Express has been an amazing and unforgettable introduction into the world of professional musical theatre and considers herself privileged to have worked with such an inspirational cast and crew. She would like to thank her Mum and Dranma for encouraging her to persue her dream.
