Greg Ellis, also known as Jonny Rees, is an English actor and voice actor who had a long-time involvement with the London production of Starlight Express.
He now owns a commercial, television, and film production company, known as Monkey Toes.

Theatre credits include: the lead role of Harry in Blitz (Great Northern Stage), Chris (alternate) in Miss Saigon (Theatre Royal, Drury Lane), Poppy (Half Moon), the title role in Johnny Salter and Orlando in As You Like It (Liverpool), Fat Sam in Bugsy Malone (Her Majesty's Theatre), Frederick in The Sound of Music (Apollo Theatre, London), Oliver! (Albery Theatre) and Electra in the London production of Starlight Express.
On television Greg has appeared as P.C. Lloyd in Bread, Peter in The Paradise Club, Terry Bliston in Brush Strokes and John in Spotters, all for the BBC.
Film credits include Tarak in Madame Sousatska directed by John Schlesinger.
Greg has a recording contract with 3 Beat Records.
Greg Ellis has appeared in many musicals, including the role of Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar and Fat Sam in Bugsy Malone, Oliver! Guys & Dolls, The Sound of Music, Bye Bye Birdie and The Wizard of Oz.
Greg is 17 years old and attended the Arts Educational Schools' Dancing and Musical Theatre course in London, but is originally from Southport. He has spent two years doing session singing for Channel Four and Starlight Express is his third West End show.
