Personality[]
Hydra is self-confident, flirtatious, and laid-back. Chiming in every so often with the reminder of his fuel source, he is as persistent as he is charismatic.
Story[]
Hydra is introduced during Freight, along with Porter, Lumber and Slick, the fuel trucks that make up the freight train. After they give their introductions, the music changes to Hydrogen, and Hydra introduces himself as the fuel of the future and boasts that he is cleaner than the fossil fuels. His part in the number "Freight" takes the place of Caboose.
He pairs with Momma in the second heat and Rusty in the final race, replacing the role of Dustin from previous productions.
Throughout the show he attempts to woo both the trains and, in turn, the audience to the benefits of using hydrogen instead of fossil fuels, which gets him jibes from the other fuel trucks.Appearance[]
Hydra is one of the four Fuel Trucks, coded in green over the standard black base. However as he is a more important character than the other fuel trucks, his costume is more detailed with more green in the base layers. His logo is "H2", the scientific notation for a Hydrogen molecule.
