2009 Biography[]
UK born, Jamie made his West-End debut at the age of 13, playing the role of Gavroche in Les Miserables. His other theatre credits include: Tobias Ragg in Sweeney Todd (theatre Clwyd and tour), Washington Otis in The Canterville Ghost (UK tour), The Best of Times (Bridewell and West-End transfer to the Vaudeville), Flat-Top and understudy Rusty in Starlight Express (Apollo Victoria, London). He then created the role of Daniel Gillen in Andrew Lloyd Webber and Ben Elton's The Beautiful Game, which won The Critics Circle Award for The Best New Musical (Cambridge Theatre), Tweedle Dum in Alice In Wonderland for the Royal Shakespeare Company (Barbican and Stratford), Ken Goes to Hollywood (Kings Head Theatre, London) and Mr McQueen in the London workshop of Urinetown, and most recently Rusty in Starlight Express (Bochum, Germany).
TV credits include: Tanyard in the award winning children's drama Dodgem (BBC), Sean Connelly in The Bill (Thames TV), Alfi in The Ghostbusters of East Finchley (BBC) and for two years played Grimbo in BBC TV's Grange Hill.
Jamie is also on the original recording of The Beautiful Game and the Starlight Express Maxi-CD as Rusty in the German production.
