Starlight Express Credits
Kevin Köhler was born in Germany and decided to become a musical actor, when he was 11-years-old and saw Starlight Express for the first time. He studied at Stage School in Hamburg.
He first got his part as Rusty through a casting show on German TV, where he won against Marcel Brauneis.
He also was part of the company and covered Alfred in "Tanz der Vampire (Dance of the vampires)" and part of the company in "Mamma Mia".
Kevin Köhler comes from Oer-Erkenschwick, Nordrhein Westfalen, Germany. After his training at the Stage School in Hamburg, his first engagement followed, including Alfred in “Tanz der Vampire” at the Theater des Westens Berlin. He won the ZDF show “Musical Show Star 2008” and successfully played Rusty in STARLIGHT EXPRESS in Bochum from 2008 to 2011 and 2014/15. After he was on stage again as Alfred in “Dance of the Vampires”, he was engaged as an understudy Terk in Disney's musical “Tarzan” in Hamburg and Stuttgart. As an understudy Clopin and Quasimodo, he thrilled the audience in Disney's “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” in Berlin, Munich and Stuttgart. In the musical "Thrill me", produced by OFFStage Germany, he played the role of Leopold (Admiralspalast Berlin, FirstStage Theater Hamburg 2018 and Konzerthaus Solingen 2021). Kevin was also seen in TV shows such as "The Helene Fischer Show". After two single releases, his songs “Crater” and “Behind The Wheel”, the EP “Kevin Köhler - Unfinished” followed, which is available for download and streaming in all online stores. The first concerts of his own followed. Further music projects are already being planned.
