Biography (1993)

Kevyn Waby (Ruhrgold) trained at the Arts Educational Schools in London, after which his first job was at The Hyde Park Hotel waltzing! His theatre work started in Lowestoft, Clacton, Sunderland and Newcastle, followed by a cabaret in Italy and performances on Italian television. Returning to London, Kevyn joined the song and dance group Hands Off, playing major London night clubs.

His West End theatre credits include Y at the Piccadilly Theatre, Humpty Dumpty at the Dominion and the gala performance of A Cavalcade of Coward at the Piccadilly theatre.

Television work includes Hi-De-Hi, Butterflies, Strangers and Brothers and Freud. Most recently, Kevyn toured to Australia and Spain and enjoyed two hit singles as a member of the band Midnight Shift.
