2012 Biography[]
Kris originally trained at the Midlands Academy of Dance and Drama (musical theatre diploma) and at the Royal Academy of Music (post graduate Musical Theatre course) under the tuition of Mary Hammond and Karen Rabinowitz.
Theatre credits: lead vocalist in Hooray for Hollywood (Monte Carlo Sporting Club); soloist and dance captain in Elton John and Ray Cooper, Live at the Royal Albert Hall; Fairy Queen in the all-male Iolanthe (the Union Theatre); Sir Despard in Murgatroyd in Ruddigore (the Tabard Theatre); Ruhrgold and understudy Rusty in Starlight Express (UK and Scandinavian tour); Lou and understudy to Bobby C, Joey, Gus and Chester in Saturday Night Fever (UK tour); Wyatt and understudy to the three Rhythm Kings in Crazy For You (UK tour); R.A.W. (Rhythm At Work) (European and UK tour); Peter Pan the Musical (Genting, Kuala Lumpur).
Regional credits: Prince Florizel in Sleeping Beauty (Majestic Theatre, Retford); Aladdin in Aladdin (Lincoln Drill Hall); Robin Hood in Robin Hood (Lincoln Castle); dancer in Sleeping Beauty (Tyne Theatre, Newcastle); dancer in Aladdin (Theatre Royal Lincoln); Oklahoma! (Playhouse, Edinburgh, in association with Children in Need); dancer in Aladdin (Arts Complex, Solihull); Boatman in Sunday in the Park with George and Leon Czolgosz in Assassins (both at Royal Academy of Music). Kris has also worked onboard luxury cruise liners as a dancer and lead vocalist.
