Biography (1988)[]
Lee Proud is 18 years old. He was born in Newcastle upon Tyne and began his career at the age of 9 doing 3 years on the North East club circuit. He made his West End debut in Bugsy Malone at Her Majesty's Theatre. After this he began training at the Italia Conti Academy, during this time he appeared in numerous shows and television programmes. Lee first started in Starlight Express at the age of 16. He then left the London company to perform in the show in Japan and Australia.
Lee's television credits include Kevin in Auf Wiedersehn Pet, David Ritson in Andy Robson, a dancer in From The Top, Never the Twain, and Lee was also pleased to have danced for Geoff Richer's First Edition and Wembley Stadium.
Lee's theatrical credits include Hello Dolly, The Music Man, The Sound of Music, The Most Happy Fella, and The Ken Dodd Show.
Lee would like to thank his family and friends for all their encouragement.

Lee started his training at the age of nine in Newcastle, England, at the Newbegin Dance Centre. Whilst there he made his television debut playing the part of Kevin in Auf Wiedersehen Pet. Lee first appeared in the West End at the age of 13, in Bugsy Malone at Her Majesty's Theatre. He then went to the Italia Conti School to continue his training. Lee's credits include a three year period on the North East club circuit, the Ken Dodd Show and Oliver! Television includes From the Top and Andy Robson. Lee was very proud to have danced recently for Geoff Richer's Firs Edition, at Wembley Stadium. Lee would like to thank his family, especially his Mum and Dad, for helping him so much with his career.
