In 1973 he joined his first West End musical, ''Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat'', at the Albery Theatre. He recorded the ''"Joseph"'' album, for which he received a Gold Disc and was subsequently asked by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice to record a solo album for MCA entitled ''Ten Songs''. Maynard then went to the newly opened Haymarket Theatre in Leicester, where he stayed for several repertory seasons, working on a wide range of plays and musicals. Since then he has worked in almost every medium of show business, recently breaking into the voice-over and session singing field. |

Biography (1993)
