Mayo is a star singer and performer in Japan. He is 24 years old and had his first of many hit records in July 1977 with the song "Love Shock".

He has appeared in many musicals in Japan, most recently La Cage Aux Folles. Mayo plays tennis and ice hockey for relaxation and his hobbies include photography, motor-bikes and cars.
