1984 Biography[]
Michael Seraphim (Cover Rocky 3) was born in England of West Indian parents and from a very early age was interested in music, making his first professional appearance singing with a calypso band in Dominica W.I. at the age of 15. At 17 Michael stowed away on a banana boat which brought him back to England where he studied Art for two years. While he was at college, Michael's performing ambitions regenerated themselves; after playing guitar and singing with numerous groups, he joined The Gemini Theatre Company in January 1983. Later he moved on to The Upstream Children's Theatre Company, at the same time being involved with The Black Theatre Co-operative workshops. Michael's skills and interests are: singing, playing guitar and composing, juggling, tumbling, and of course roller skating!
