Nancy Wood is an American musical theatre actress. She created the roles of Buffy and Control, and is one of the few actresses to have portrayed Electra.

1984 Biography

Nancy Wood (Buffy) is an American and has studied Dance, Drama and Voice in New York. She studied roller skating between the ages of 5 and 9.

Her first professional theatre job was in the International Company of A Chorus Line, playing Kristine and covering Maggie, Connie, Bebe and Diana. She also appeared in Evita and They're Playing Our Song, covering Sonia opposite Tom Conti.

TV credits include Marlowe - Private Eye, directed by Bryan Forbes and Roll Over Beethoven with Nigel Planer.

Film credits include The Pirates Of Penzance, Vanessa in Invitation To The Wedding, A Time To Think for Rank films, Supergirl and co-starring in Scandalous opposite Robert Hayes, which is soon to be released. Currently, Nancy can be seen on US TV in her second commercial for Avon.
