Biography 2021[]
Nils Rinas comes from Sprockhövel in the southern Ruhr area and has been on skates since he was 9 years old. His passion for skating was sparked in a small skate park during a vacation on the North Sea. Back in North Rhine-Westphalia, he became a permanent guest at the Wicked Woods skate park in Wuppertal, where he trained three to four times a week. He quickly became part of the skate team, successfully took part in competitions and emerged as the winner of his age group at the German mini-ramp championship several times. Nils was also able to collect several medals at international competitions in the Netherlands, Belgium and France. At the “Winterclash”, the largest competition in the skater scene in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, he first won in the junior class and in 2020 came 3rd among 150 participants among the amateurs. This qualified him for participation in the professional class. Nils is happy about his involvement with STARLIGHT EXPRESS in Bochum, because he has known the show since the beginning of his skater career.
