P.P. Arnold (Belle) Born into a family of 'Gospel Singers' P.P. Arnold began her singing career at the age of four years. When she wasn't singing at the Full Gospel Baptist Church, Pat would join her brothers and sisters performing rhythm & blues and soul music around Los Angeles. Deciding to make London her home, Pat was signed to the Immediate record label, run by the then 'Stones manager Andrew Loog-Oldham who, together with Mick Jagger and Mike Hurst produced her debut album "The First Lady Of Immediate". Her first UK hit in 1967 'The First Cut Is The Deepest', written by Cat Stevens, was followed in the same year by 'The Time Has Come'. In 1968, Pat re-entered the charts with 'If You Think You're Groovy', written and produced by Steve Marriott. Jack Good's production of Catch My Soul gave Pat her first opportunity as a West End musical performer in 1969, playing the part of Bianca. Being the high energy artist she is, Pat was still able to find time to tour Europe with her group The Nice, later to become Emerson Lake and Palmer. In 1977 she returned to the States and was seen in Fame, Knotts Landing, Quincy, Chips, T.J. Hooker and many other TV Dramas.
