2009 Biography[]
Sarah Landy has recently enjoyed the role of Ellen in the Australian production of Miss Saigon after spending the last five years performing abroad and in Europe. Sarah has had the pleasure of performing the lead roles of Pearl, AShley and Dinah in Starlight Express Germany. She then moved to the West End to play Sophia, and 1st cover Annette in Saturday Night Fever. Her other credits include Mack n' Mabel and Follies, and the roles of Cosette (Les Miserables) and Maria (West Side Story) for the Jose Carreras Aids Benefit Gala.
Travelling around the world as lead vocalist on board the cruise liner M.S. Amadea was another career highlight for Sarah as were some of her film and TV credits including the popular Paul O'Grady Show (UK) and Starlight Express the Races used in both the US and UK productions and now in New Zealand.
Sarah's training at the Victorian Ballet School, Dance World 301 and Melba Memorial Conservatorium of Music have served her well in her travels.
Sarah would like to dedicate this performance to Duane, Kathy, Nova, Becky and my "Saigon Girls", friends I couldn't live without.
2005 Biography[]
Sarah Kate Landy was born in Australia. She attended the Melba Memorial Conservatorium of Music, Victoria University and afterwards Dance World 301 in Melbourne.
She played Yum Yum in The Mikado, Princess in The Soldiers Tale, Ado Annie in Oklahoma! and the narrator in Joseph And The Technicolor Dreamcoat, and was part of the company of Mack 'n' Mabel
