2007 Biography[]
Saskia trained at the Royal Ballet School and then received the Anna Neagle Award to attend the London Studio Centre. Whilst at the Royal Ballet she performed in The Nutcracker and The Royal Gala at the ROH and Hobson's Choice with the Bimingham Royal Ballet.
Her musical theatre debut was in The Pajama Game (Victoria Palace, Birmingham Rep and Prince of Wales, Toronto) where she understudied and played the role of Poopsie. She appeared in Little Women (Bloomsbury) followed by a tour of Denmark with The Rat Pack. Saskia returned to the West End to join the cast of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. She has recently performed in Oliver! (Theatre Royal, Lincoln, and Kuala Lumpur) and Santa Claus the Musical (Mayflower, Southampton) and is now delighted to be joining the cast of Starlight Express.
Saskia's commercial and television work includes dancing in the film Mojo (BBC Films), lead vocalist in pop r'n'b band Cush, tourig with Steps and Atomic Kitten (Wembley Arena, Birmingham NEC, Manchester GMX, Glasgow Arena), Whereitsat (Sky TV), Children's ITV, Topshop TV, Telewest TV plus numerous national and regional radio shows and interviews. Saskia also gigs around the country with her own music.
