Biography (1988)[]
Trevor began his career in 1978 at the Cockpit Theatre in London playing the lead in Donald Swann's The Yeast Factory, and was described by Time Out as a skillful actor. He went on to a very successful production at the Old Vic, followed by work at the Royal Court, Albany empire and the Barbican Theatre in Plymouth. He graduated from Dartington College of Arts with a B.A. Hons in Music having studied voice, trombone, piano, electric bass and composition. On leaving Trevor went straight to Glyndebourne Festival Opera for two seasons before joining Starlight Express.

Theatre: Starlight Express (Japanese/Australian tour); Poppa in the original cast of the German production of Starlight Express (Bochum); The Buddy Holly Story (Victoria Palace and Strand Theatres); Sam in Casablanca (Whitehall Theatre); Rum Daniels in Carmen Jones (Old Vic); title role in Pete Townshend's The Iron Man (Young Vic); Once On this Island (Royalty Theatre); The Pan Beaters (Greenwich Theatre); Blue Moon (Gateway Theatre, Chester); Hard Time Pressure (Royal Court).
Television: The Ink Thief with Richard O'Brien; an appearance on Wogan; Not the Royal Variety Performance; Blue Peter; T-Bag.
Opera: Porgy and Bess (Glyndebourne and Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.)
Concerts: Performed with Larry Adler on the harmonica for The Glory of Gershwin (tour).
Musical Direction: Musical director and composer for the critically acclaimed Tapping Harlem; assistant musical director for The Buddy Holly Story (Victoria Palace and Strand Theatres)
